Favorite thing about wrestling: I like the one on one aspect of wrestling. There is no one else to blame, and no one else to take credit for what happens on the mat. It creates good discipline and teaches you about being accountable for your actions.
Favorite past wrestler/coach: My Dad (Jeff Jones) and Uncle (Preston Hayden) have had the greatest impact on me and my wrestling. Coach Castillon has always kept me working hard on wrestling and other aspects of my life as well.
Goals for wrestling/life career: After high school, I plan on going to college and playing football - most likely at Chadron State. I'm planning on a degree in Human Biology and on to medical school. I've wrestled since I was 3 years old and plan on keeping wrestling in my life as a referee, coach and hopefully someday, far, far away.. a wrestling dad.
One of my main goals for this year (along with being a State Champ) is to be the 5th in Centrals history to be a 4-year state placer.
